Land & GIS Mapping

Aerial data turned into GIS layers your planners, engineers and revenue teams can query.

What it is

A map is only useful if people can ask it questions. We capture current aerial imagery and build it into structured GIS layers: parcels, roads, buildings, utilities, land use. Delivered in formats that open directly in your GIS or CAD software.

Where it is used

  • Town planning and municipal mapping
  • Property and land record mapping
  • Utility and asset inventories
  • Site selection and feasibility studies

Our approach

We start from the decisions the map must support, then define layers, attributes and coordinate system with you before capture, so the data fits your existing GIS rather than sitting beside it.

How the work runs

  1. 01

    Understand

We learn what you need to decide, measure or prove, and which outputs will get you there.

  2. 02

    Plan

We design the mission: platform, sensor, flight plan, ground control and the permissions the site requires.

  3. 03

    Capture

Our pilots fly the site and check data quality before leaving the field.

  4. 04

    Process

Raw data becomes maps, models, measurements and findings, checked against control.

  5. 05

    Deliver

You receive reports and files in the formats your team uses, with a walkthrough of the results.

Questions about land & gis mapping

More answers in our drone services FAQ.

Which GIS formats do you deliver?

Standard formats such as GeoTIFF, shapefile, KML/KMZ, DXF/DWG and geodatabase. Tell us what your team uses and we deliver in that.

Can you map large areas such as a town or an industrial estate?

Yes. Large areas are flown in planned blocks and merged into one seamless dataset.
